General Queries Regarding Booking Your Villa Holiday with Villa Select
Q. How do I contact Villa Select?

Q. Can I hold an option on a villa?
A. Yes, Villa Select are able to hold your villa on option for up to 24 hours. We do not hold options on late bookings. Please get in touch.
Q. What deposit does Villa Select require to confirm a booking?
A. Booking your villa holiday is so easy. Overall, our villa holidays require 20% deposit to secure the booking. Our low deposit offer allows you to pay the 20% deposit into two easy instalments, 28 days apart. The final balance is due 10 weeks before departure. If the booking is made less than 10 weeks in advance then 100% of the value of the holiday is due at the time of booking.
If you are booking your flights through Villa Select, 100% of the cost of the flights are due at the time of booking.
Q. Can I book my Villa Select villa holiday online?
A. Yes, we have the facility for you to confirm your villa via our online reservations service. You can also book both villa and flights online. You can always get in touch with us after booking if you would like to add on extras such as car hire, private airport transfers and much more.
Q. I have made my villa holiday booking, what happens next?.
A. Once you have made your booking, you will receive your booking confirmation via email within 24 hours of booking. (If a booking has been made over the weekend, your confirmation invoice will be emailed to you on the next business day)
Approximately 12 weeks before departure we will contact you to remind you with any upcoming payments due.
At 10 weeks before departure once the full balance of your holiday has been received, we will require Advance Passenger Information (passport details) and if you have booked your flights independently , we will need your full flight details.
Final stage; once the above is complete and your balance is paid, you will receive your personal travel documentation via email. This email will include information on your villa/destination, resort manager contact details , driving directions – including location of key and key code details. If you have booked a package with flights, you will also receive boarding passes. For those who have booked car hire or private transfer , information regarding collection.
Q. When do I need to pay the balance of my holiday?
A. The final balance is due 10 weeks before departure.
Q. Does Villa Select include flights in my villa holiday booking?
A. Flights are not included in the prices shown on the website for each villa. If you require flights to your villa holiday destination, our travel specialist can arrange and book your flights for you and your party. Please click here to make an enquiry for a villa with flights!
Q. Can I book a Villa with Flights online?

Q. Can a Villa Specialist book my Villa and Flights for me?
A. Villa Select can arrange your flights for your holiday. By booking both together, your holiday will be one ATOL protected package. Please send an enquiry here and our villa specialists will package up your favourite villa with flights from your local airport!
Q. Can I book my own flights?
A. Yes, however please check your financial protection when booking these separately.
Q. I have a valid credit voucher from a cancelled booking in 2020/2021, how can I re-book?
A. Please get in touch to arrange your new villa holiday booking within 12 months of receiving your credit note. You can choose from any available villa from any available date across our portfolio. Send your credit note across to us by email and we will deduct the value from your booking.
Q. Are transfers / car hire included in the price?
A. Transfers / car hire are not included in the villa price. If you require car hire or transfers for your villa holiday, our travel specialist can arrange this for you, please get in touch.
Q. Can Villa Select arrange my car hire or airport transfers? What other services do you offer?
A. Yes! Villa Select has many services to offer you when booking you villa holiday. We can do anything you require, including: flights, car hire, taxi transfers, airport parking, airport lounge passes, private chefs and many excursions/day trips at your holiday destination for you. Please get in touch with our friendly team to enquire on what services we can add to your holiday!
Q. What time is the villa available from and what time must it be vacated?
A. Check in is at 4pm. You will arrive to a villa that is fully cleaned and prepared for your arrival. Check out is at 10am. When booking your own travel arrangements, please bear in mind the above information.
Q. What is included in the Welcome Pack?
A. A Welcome Pack is provided for you to enjoy on arrival at your holiday home and will include some essential items for you to enjoy on arrival. The contents will vary slightly from resort to resort but will normally include items such as: tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam, water, wine, eggs, cheese and either tuna or ham, salad items, a starter pack of toilet rolls, matches, rubbish bags, washing up liquid, 3 x dishwasher tablets and a cleaning cloth; contents may vary slightly in resort. If you require a vegetarian welcome hamper please advise us at the time of booking.
Please note that selected properties/discounted villas do not include a welcome pack, however can be added on at an additional fee, please ask at the time when booking your Villa Select villa holiday.
Q. Are there irons, ironing boards, safes and hairdryers at the villas?
A. Yes, all of our villas have an iron, ironing board, safe and a hairdryer.
Q. Is there a breakage deposit/security deposit when I book my Villa Select villa holiday?
A. There is a £10 per person minor breakage and accidental damage charge that will is included in all bookings. This charge will be shown on your confirmation invoice and payable at the time of your balance payment. The charge is non-refundable and covers accidental damage to fixtures and fitting and breakages to crockery and glassware. This does not cover malicious damage or misuse of the fixtures and fittings or structure to your villa.
We ask you to leave the property in the condition you found it on your arrival and report any damages or breakages caused during your stay.
A security deposit may be required on selected properties, more information can be found on the villa’s webpage on our website.
Q. How are local government taxes paid?
A. Local taxes are applicable for all visitors to the Balearic Islands and Croatia. Balearic tax known as Sustainable Tourism Tax is included in the prices displayed online and is applicable for passengers over the age of 16. In Croatia local taxes are informed at the time of booking.
Q. Does the property have air-conditioning?
A. This is only available if stated in the description of the accommodation and will be in the rooms as stated. All air-conditioning units are set on a timer. This avoids an overload of the system when numerous electrical items are in use. We’d also like to think that we’ll all be doing our bit towards saving the environment.
Q. Can a child under 16 travel to Portugal without its parent or guardian?
A. In accordance with the Child Abduction Act, any child (up to 16 years) travelling with an adult, who is not their parent or guardian, is required to be in possession of a letter giving appropriate consent from the parent or legal guardian and authenticated by a solicitor which includes a contact telephone number.

Q. Do any of the villas have gated pools?
A. Yes, we have villas with gated pools. Villa Vicina – Croatia, Villa Mir Vami – Croatia, Villa Vjeka – Croatia, Villa Maro – Greece, Villa Autentico – Pollensa.
Q. Do your villas have heated swimming pools?

Note: There may be an extra charge for pool heating. Please check the villa webpage or enquire with our team about this.
Q. Are cots and highchairs available?
A. Most of our villas provide one complimentary cot and one complimentary high chair. We can arrange extra cots at a charge of £30 – £38 per week depending on resort. Cot linen is provided for you. Extra highchairs can be arranged for you at £15 – £30 per week, depending on resort. Please let us know if you require a cot / highchair so we can add this to your booking.
Q. What are the cleaner’s duties?
A. The cleaner’s basic duties are bed making, cleaning the villa (bathrooms, kitchens, floors etc.), sweeping patios and general tidying. Washing up and cleaning of barbecues are NOT included in their duties.
Q. Can I smoke inside of the villa?
A. Smoking is NOT PERMITTED inside any of our villas. Thank you for your cooperation.
Q. Will my DVDs play on the DVD player in the villa?
A. Where our villas are described as having a DVD player, this will have been supplied by the villa owner and is therefore outside our control. However, as all our resorts are in DVD region 2 (the same as the UK) it is reasonable to assume that DVDs bought in the UK will play with no problems. If you intend to take any region 1 DVDs there is no guarantee that these will play.
Q. Can I take my dog?
A. Sorry, unfortunately not. No pets whatsoever are allowed in any of our properties.
