Take a drive up to Fiskardo along the coastal road, it has the most stunning views (see featured image) and it has viewing points for you to stop and take panoramic pictures.
I was surprised when i visited Villa Xanthy that a villa can be that private whilst being mere metres from the beach and it’s fantastic fish restaurants. This was one of my definite favourites!!
Villa Konstantina is so pretty with it’s mature gardens, mountain views and, since the villa is owned by an art gallery owner, plenty of art work adorn the walls.
We spent an afternoon taking in the sights of the capital Argostoli (about 15 minutes drive from Spartia), we spotted a turtle swimming alongside us in the harbour and had delicious saganaki and chicken souvlaki in one of the many restaurants in the main square.
