Set in the peaceful countryside of northern Mallorca, Ca Na Sureda is a lovely rural retreat. The villa enjoys a quiet and private setting. Green fields, mature olive trees, woodland and palm trees surround the property. Beyond the gardens, rolling hills lead towards the mountains, with views stretching across the countryside and out to sea.
Inside, the villa has plenty of traditional Mallorcan character. Step indoors to find high ceilings, exposed wooden beams and warm terracotta floor tiles. Traditional archways help create a bright and spacious feel. The living room is a comfortable open-plan space, furnished with large sofas and wooden furniture. Next door, the country-style kitchen features wooden cabinets and a colourful mosaic-tile splashback. The villa is arranged over a single floor and has three bedrooms. These include one double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and two twin bedrooms. A separate family bathroom completes the accommodation.
Outside, there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside. A well-kept lawn and Mediterranean garden surround the spacious terrace. Traditional terracotta tiles give the patio a relaxed, rustic feel. At its centre, a nine-metre swimming pool provides plenty of space to cool off. There is even an underwater bench where you can sit and enjoy the views. Sun loungers are dotted around the pool, making it easy to spend a few hours relaxing in the sunshine. For some shade, head to the wooden-beamed veranda. It has a comfortable outdoor sofa area, perfect for escaping the midday heat. There is also a white stone barbecue with worktops on either side, making outdoor cooking simple. Follow the stone path through an archway of neatly trimmed greenery to find the table tennis area. It is a great spot for a family game or two.
There is plenty to explore beyond the villa, with some of northern Mallorca’s best-known towns and beaches just a short drive away. Alcudia, Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa town are all within easy reach. If a day at the beach is on the cards, San Pere and Sa Font de Sant Joan are both nearby. Their white sands and clear waters make them ideal for a relaxing day by the sea. When it is time to eat, head to Puerto Pollensa or Pollensa town. Both offer a good choice of family-run tavernas and waterfront restaurants. Enjoy freshly caught seafood, homemade tapas and traditional Mallorcan dishes before heading back to the peace and quiet of the villa.
