A couple of restaurants and mini markets in Lakithra and Svoronata are less than a 5 minute drive, and the beaches of Avithos, Ai Helis and Ammes are also not more than 8-10 minutes drive away.

The Capital of the island; Argostoli, is a 15 minute drive and well worth a visit, with an elegant main square and lots of shops, tavernas, cafes and bars to explore and a great outdoor vegetable, fruit market on the harbourfront, it is a great place to visit.
