This pretty, fully air-conditioned stone-clad cottage overlooks the charming village of Katelios in Kefalonia and the beautiful sea in the distance. Villa Theo is perched on the hillside a short way off the main road leading into the village. Set in the wonderfully hilly countryside of this lovely Greek Island, this holiday property boasts some striking views of the surroundings and is a perfect destination for any holiday makers looking for unique villas with their own pools in the Greek Islands.

This unique property is constructed from natural stone to a very high standard and is one of the few one bedroomed villas with private pool available for rental on the Island. A real little "love nest", which boasts every amenity and we are just delighted to include it in our Kefalonia programme.

A private drive leads off the entrance road to the villa and steps lead down to the side entrance. The main door leads into the very attractive modern dining/kitchen, which comes complete with fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The open plan design then leads into a cosy well-furnished lounge with feature fireplace, satellite TV (limited channels), DVD and CD player. Double patio doors open out onto the front pool terrace affording a wonderful light and airy feel to this ground floor area, and from the terrace there are lovely views out across to the village beyond.

Stairs lead up from the lounge area to the superb air-conditioned bedroom suite. The spacious double bedroom has dressing area, shower room with walk-in shower and WC. Large patio doors open out onto a very large sunbathing terrace overlooking the pool.

The villa is air-conditioned/heated for your added benefit.

The outside area is delightful and boasts a 6 metre pool with shallow end and spacious well-furnished terraces surround this, which includes a brick built barbeque for those romantic meals al-fresco.

The pretty fishing village of Katelios, which has grown up into a most attractive mini resort around a small harbour and sandy beach, is literally 2 minutes by car down the hill. It boasts some of the best beachside tavernas on the island specialising in fresh fish usually caught that day. There are boats for hire and the nearby larger resort of Skala is no more than 10 minutes by car.

A very welcome addition to the Villa Select programme and early booking is highly recommended.

Excellent villa with good views and a lovely swiiming pool and jacuzzi. It feels private, but is located within a short distance of a delightful fishing village that has an excellent seafood restuarant. The location of this gorgeous holiday property in Kefalonia is just perfect. Villa Thea Beach is situated on the end of the fabulous Lourdas Beach and boasts fantastic coastline and sea views, whilst being shaded by old olive trees. With such a beautiful backdrop, this is a fantastic villa from our range of unique villas with pools to spend those memorable holidays in the enchanting Greek Islands.

Just a 2 minute walk is the first of many tavernas to be found in Lourdas and a 5 minute stroll down the beach road takes you to a mini-market and a wide range of eating places. During high season small boats are available for hire to enable you to explore the private coves and beaches of this gorgeous coastline. The village of Lourdas itself is approximately half a mile up the hill and here are to be found even more tavernas and restaurants offering a wide choice to suit all tastes and pockets.

Thea Beach House is reached via a short private drive and is just designed for outside living. The accommodation consists on the ground floor level of a compact air-conditioned open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with TV (limited English channels),DVD and portable CD player and patio doors lead to the front dining terrace. The kitchen area has large fridge/freezer, small dishwasher and microwave. An inner hall, which houses the washing machine, leads to the downstairs air-conditioned twin bedroom and this has patio doors out onto the front terrace and a shower with WC en-suite.

Stairs lead to the first floor and the two air-conditioned double bedrooms. Each has a Caribbean styled wooden high ceiling and patio doors opening out onto a small balcony with stunning views of the beach and sea beyond. Both double rooms have shower en-suite.

The villa is air-conditioned throughout for your added benefit.

Outside the 8 metre pool, with steps into the shallow end for children, is situated to the side of the property for extra privacy. The landscaped terraces are well furnished for eating and relaxing outdoors and there is a brick built barbeque for your added enjoyment.

A really pretty little house in an amazing location in Kefalonia where car hire is not absolutely essential – perfect for those who enjoy a bit of walking - but early booking is a must.

The flagship villa of our 'Old Skala' selection in Kefalonia is this superb property, Villa Mirsini, which is set in a wonderful location with superb sea views. It is the perfect villa for any holidays to the beautiful in the Greek Islands

Named after a local shrub it has been constructed to the highest quality and enjoying a real premium position high above the resort of Skala and its holiday villas and the shimmering Ionian sea in the distance. The panoramic views from all angles of this unique villa are stunning with a backdrop of olive trees, forest, and mountainside; there are few places left with such natural beauty.

The villa is built in an 'L' shaped design and is most imposing by any ones standard. A short drive leads off from the mountainside, which meanders through the old village of Skala and up to a large parking area. The main entrance to the property leads straight into the very spacious, well-furnished open plan living room. At the far end is the lounge, which is comfortably arranged around a feature fireplace, satellite TV (limited channels),CD player and DVD. There is Wi-Fi access available, please bring your own computer. Two sets of patio doors open out onto the covered dining terrace, whilst the more formal dining area is in the centre of the room. An American style breakfast bar then splits the superbly fitted kitchen from the living accommodation and boasts dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Again patio doors open from the kitchen to the outside terrace for easy access for easy access for those meals al-fresco.

An inner hall then leads firstly to a downstairs cloakroom with WC and then to the first of the villas four bedrooms. This is a most attractive double with bath, walk-in shower and WC en-suite. Patio doors open out onto the front pool terrace.

Stairs then lead to the first floor and three further bedrooms, two pretty twins each having a shower and WC en-suite. Each also has patio doors onto a small balcony, one facing towards the front and the sea and one to the rear and a lovely mountain backdrop in the distance.

The large master double bedroom is very special with king size bed and a wonderful bathroom en-suite with bath, walk-in shower, WC and double vanity unit. Patio doors open out onto a spacious private terrace, an ideal spot for enjoying those breathtaking views or a spot of private sunbathing.

The villa is air-conditioned throughout for your added benefit.

Outside the very large terrace is well furnished and has a shady covered area leading off from the living accommodation. There is a brick built barbeque conveniently placed and outside dining for eight for those meals al-fresco. Taking pride of place in the centre of the terrace is the 12 metre pool, which has shallow end for children and a Jacuzzi at one end and is the perfect spot to cool off in those sun drenched days of Kefalonian sunshine.

Again as with our other villas with pools in Old Skala, Kefalonia, the three fantastic beaches of Skala, Kaminia and Mounda (where on the latter two the Loggerhead Turtles return annually to breed) are just over 2 miles away, whilst the resort of Skala with its choice of shops, tavernas and nightlife is less than 15 minutes by car.

There is a taverna within a matter of minutes’ drive from the villa offering traditional Mediterranean dishes for you to enjoy whilst savouring the superb views across the Kefalonian countryside.

For those that like to keep active whilst on holiday, there is a tennis court for your use again within a couple of minutes’ drive and bookings for the use of the court can be made at the taverna. There are also some great opportunities for walking and cycling in the Kefalonia countryside.

As this villa is reached via a mountainside lane, we recommend a car of 1600cc or larger.

"Where do I start! When we booked Villa Mirsini for a family holiday (4 adults 2 children) in September 2011 the price seemed very reasonable and the villa looked amazing. The staff I spoke to at Villa Select were very helpful at all times and very informative... one lady I spoke to her parents had stayed at the villa so she had first hand knowledge. We arrived at the villa at night time and were so pleased to find the villa exceeded our expectations (sometimes pictures on websites can be disappointingly deceptive but certainly not in this case). Inside the villa it's large, modern, clean and well equipped and outside it's the most perfect quiet location set high up in the hills. When we woke on the first sunny morning of our holiday we found the views to be absolutely breath taking- I have stayed in many premium villas and hotels in the past but this has to win the award for the best view....STUNNING! I have to also mention the Villa Select rep who met us at the airport and visited us on our first morning, she was friendly and so keen to help, it was evident that she was passionate about her job but also the island itself... she took her time to answer all our questions and provide us with all the information we needed regarding the villa and our surroundings. If I had to think of any criticism at all (and it is hard to think of any) it would be that the pool was at times was cold, that said we travelled in late September so the start of the Autumn season and we were told that there are plans to heat the pool in the future. I don't normally like to return to a destination or place i've stayed preferring to explore new sights and abodes but I would definitely return to this villa and location. I should also say i'm not somebody who normally provides reviews but I felt I just had to in this instance. So to summarise I would highly reccomend Villa Select (currently browsing their website for our 2012 holiday) and Villa Mirsini for the perfect combination for a perfect holiday......"

Villa Dias Description

The location of Villa Dias is simply stunning, perched on a headland above the village of Spartia with glorious views over open countryside to the sea beyond. Reached by a long winding unmade track off a quiet lane, villa Dias offers peace and privacy away from other holiday villas and a quality second to none. This is sure to be the ideal property for your villa holidays to Kefalonia in the Greek islands so if you are looking for unique villas with pools, look no further. The village and beach is less than two miles away.

Taking centre stage on a two acre plot the house is built on many levels. The impressive front entrance leads directly into a spacious comfortably furnished lounge with satellite TV (limited English channels), DVD and portable CD player. There is a cloakroom with WC adjacent to the front door and large patio doors open from the lounge onto the front terrace and pool area. The open plan aspect of the living accommodation gives a great sense of space. The kitchen is beautifully fitted and has dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and breakfast bar. In the left wing of the villa and off from the kitchen is the formal dining area with seating for eight. Once again patio doors lead out to the patios and those beautiful views.

On the opposite side of the lounge a few steps lead to an inner hallway and three air-conditioned bedrooms. The first is a twin with shower and WC en suite, the second is a twin with full bathroom en-suite and a further staircase then leads up to a double bedded room, which has patio doors onto a terrace boasting wonderful views to the sea. This bedroom has a shower with WC en- suite. A second staircase also leads from the lounge to the air-conditioned double master bedroom. This has large corner shower room en suite and patio doors lead from the bedroom onto a large partly covered terrace, ideal for that private sun worshipping.

All bedrooms are air conditioned for your added benefit.

Outside the villas magnificent features continue. A covered terrace which is well furnished for living and dining al fresco, a brick built barbeque and taking pride of place amongst extensive terraces is the 10 metre "free form infinity pool" with steps into a shallow end for children. Swimming here is like swimming in mid-air; however young children must be supervised around the area of the infinity pool. Finally, there is a Jacuzzi in one corner of the pool, a perfect spot to sit and enjoy a drink whilst you watch the fabulous sunsets from Villa Dias.

Regardless of whether you are looking to relax under the sun or try some cycling in the countryside, this is the perfect Kefalonia villa.

This villa is absolutely fabulous for anyone wanting to be away from bustle, but still able to see other properties (in the distance). The views are incredible as are the sunsets over the sea.

The pool, it says it is 10m but it seems so much more, and because one end is shallow it stays lovely and warm, it is without a doubt the most amazing pool.

The bedrooms are well set out, as is the lounge and kitchen, in fact, it is quite perfect.

Villa Neptune Beach Description

The superb Villa Neptune Beach is situated in a most stunning position and boasts panoramic views of the sea and surrounding islands of Lefkas and Ithaca in the distance. Sitting in an area of beautiful detached holiday villas with pools and only 300 yards from the first class Emelisse Hotel, the pretty harbour of Fiskardo with its great choice of restaurants and waterside tavernas is less than a mile down the hill and so this is an ideally located property to enjoy great Kefalonia villa holidays in the Greek Islands.

The house is split in different levels on the side of the hillside and the front entrance is reached via a short flight of steps into what is the middle floor of this unique Kefalonia villa. You enter into a most comfortably furnished lounge and this lovely area has feature fireplace, satellite TV (limited channels) playstation 2 and DVD player. Large patio doors open out onto a well-furnished terrace overlooking the pool and this together with large picture windows make the most of the wonderful sea views. Leading off from the lounge is the well fitted kitchen, which comes complete with small dishwasher and microwave and the washing machine is located in the utility room.

Stairs lead down to two pretty bedrooms, a twin and a double, and these share a full family bathroom. A further flight of stairs lead to a second comfortably furnished lounge, which comes complete with. This villa is just designed for outside living. Very spacious terraces, all well-furnished for relaxing and soaking up the sun, surround the superb 10 metre pool. At one corner of the pool there is a built- in Jacuzzi, an ideal spot for sitting, relaxing and sipping an ice cold cocktail. Steps also lead into a shallow end of the pool for children and to complete the scene there is a brick built barbeque and outside dining seating for those glorious meals al-fresco.

A really terrific Kefalonia family villa located within walking distance of Emblissi beach and only short drive into Fiskardo itself.

The position of this villa is spectacular and ideally located, just outside of Fiskardo. The villa is spacious, well laid out and well appointed with a large pool in a secluded area. There is an attractive bay within a few minutes walk ideal for child friendly swimming and snorkeling for the more adventurous. Over all an idealic location and a superb holiday.

Villa Neptune was delightful. The views form the balcony were beautiful. The local bay was very pretty and in easy walking distance. All in all a wonderful holiday destination.
