A smaller sister villa to our C'an Terrassa and owned by the same imaginative family, we have watched this lovely house grow from its simple foundations to the prestigious Villa Alicia it has now become. Knowing both the architect and the owners as we do, we just knew that no expense would be spared in the construction, fittings and furnishings and we are delighted to be able to offer this fabulous villa in Cala D’or, Majorca.

Built on a corner plot in a residential area in the centre of Cala D'or and no more than a 5 minute walk to the pedestrian areas and nearby beaches or to the stylish marina, where yet more bars and restaurants abound.

The front door is reached via a gated entrance and into a most attractively designed small hallway. At once you just have to be impressed by the fine tiling, woodwork and general ambiance of this lovely new property. To the right is a cloakroom with WC and then down two steps is the most attractive and comfortably furnished spacious lounge/dining room, which has a glass fronted feature wood burning fireplace, digital satellite TV (limited English channels, however does have BBC 1,2 ITV 1, 2 and Sky news) and DVD. The lounge area is air-conditioned for comfort and patio doors lead from here onto the well-furnished terrace overlooking the pool. The beautifully fitted kitchen is to the left of the hallway and comes complete with dishwasher, microwave and breakfast area. There is also a washing machine located in the utility for your added convenience.

An attractive marble staircase then leads up from the hall to three air-conditioned bedrooms on the first floor. There are two pretty twin bedded rooms, one having an extra bed suitable for a child or teenager and each bedroom has a shower with WC en-suite and patio doors to the terrace, which extends around two sides of the property. The delightful master bedroom, with king-size bed, has a full en-suite bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, WC and vanity unit and once again patio doors lead out onto the upstairs terrace with views over the pool.

All bedrooms and the lounge are air-conditioned for your added benefit.

Outside the superb 9 metre swimming pool sits in front of spacious well-furnished terraces and has steps leading into a shallow end for children. The pool is linked to a series of solar panels, which will raise the temperature of the pool in high season and hopefully take the chill off in May, June and September. The pool is not covered however and therefore cannot be considered heated in the true sense of the word. The villa is also southwest facing and therefore catches the sun on its pool and terraces until late in the evening.

Finally there is a brick built barbecue, which is located conveniently for the kitchen and terraces for those meals al-fresco by the pool.

Within a few minutes’ walk of all the amenities that Cala D'or has to offer, there are a huge range of opportunities available to you for example some fantastic sailing or scenic walking in Majorca. This is one of the most superb luxury villas in Majorca and early booking is highly recommended.
