Tucked away amongst tall trees in a private residential cluster of houses, this villa boasts lovely views across to the Monchique mountain range to the coast and sea beyond. This rural and mountain area really must be one of the Algarve's best kept secrets. There is a supermarket plus an excellent selection of local restaurants, serving traditional mountain fare, and all the facilities of the town of Monchique are only a short 2 minute drive away from the villa or a leisurely 15 minute stroll.

A short lane leads past the neighbouring villas to arrival at this superb villa which was has been constructed to the highest standard. A series of steps lead from the parking area to the front entrance. To the side of the steps is the original spring topped up with the famous Monchique mountain water, complete with fish. The impressive double entrance door opens into a generously proportioned hall with an impressive staircase leading to the upper floor. On the ground floor, there is a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room. This bedroom has French windows with fabulous views across the surrounding countryside. Adjacent to this bedroom is a cloakroom.

Off from the entrance hallway is the elegant dining room with seating for 8 and this room has the benefit of patio doors to enjoy the stunning countryside views. Off from this room is the kitchen which is well fitted and has a breakfast bar, this room again has stunning views to the south and east.

The lounge is spacious and has comfortable seating to sit and relax, again with French windows and those wonderful views. There is a large flat screen TV with satellite TV (limited sky channels) and DVD player. The villa has wireless internet access, please bring your own computer. There are patio doors opening out onto a terrace which overlooks the pool area, garden and outside covered summer house with a barbecue area - ideal for those meals al-fresco. All areas enjoy views across the surrounding countryside.

On the upper level are two pretty air-conditioned bedrooms, the first has a king size double bed, TV and full bathroom en-suite. The other bedroom has a queen size bed and also has full bathroom en-suite. Both bedrooms have sun terraces, with seating, from which to enjoy the spectacular view.

Outside, the 8 metre infinity pool, has steps into the shallow end and the whole area is well furnished for relaxing and dining outdoors.

A superb villa, beautifully furnished and set in a private location for a real 'get away from it all' holiday yet within easy reach of a great selection of local restaurants. All the attractions of the Algarve are less than 30 minutes drive including Portimao and Praia da Rocha offering a great selection of beaches, shops, nightlife and a vast choice of restaurants. The famous Morgado de Regengo golf course is only 10 minutes drive from here. For windsurfers and nature lovers, the unspoilt beaches of the west coast are only 40 minutes drive away.
