Villa Casa Oliveira Description
(This is a request only villa)
Villa Casa Oliveira is superbly situated in a slightly elevated corner position of a most exclusive residential area less than a mile from the village of Guia.
The first thing you admire about this wonderful holiday villa in Guia, Algarve has to be the unique swimming pool area, which boasts not one but two private pools. The first is a shallow pool for children, which has steps in one corner for easy access, whilst the second adult's pool is a delightful 8 metres in length and both are surrounded by well-furnished sun terraces. An added bonus for families is that the pool area is separated from the garden by a balustrade wall ensuring safety for very young children.
This wonderful villa rental is reached from a very quiet service lane and into a gated drive. This bungalow is of typical Portuguese style in design and is most comfortably furnished to a very high standard and is looked after by its owners with great care and attention.
The front door leads into a spacious hall off from which is the first of the villas two bathrooms, this being a shower room with WC. An inner hall then leads down to the two pretty air-conditioned bedrooms, a double with patio doors onto the front pool terrace and a twin bedroom with picture windows to the side of the house. A most attractive family bathroom separates these.
All bedrooms are air-conditioned for your added benefit.
The split-level lounge/dining room has feature fireplace, digital satellite TV (limited English channels),DVD and portable CD player and patio doors lead onto the upper pool terrace and garden area. The kitchen leads off from the formal dining room and is well fitted with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The garden at Casa Oliveira is simply delightful and surrounding a pretty lawned area are many tropical plants and bushes giving both colour and fragrance all summer long. The focal point here is the shaded covered terrace leading from the rear of the kitchen, which is a lovely outdoor dining area complimented by a brick built barbecue. A perfect spot for those meals al-fresco.
Finally the roof top sun terrace offers panoramic views over to the open park of this exclusive development. This is an ideal and very private spot for the real sun worshipper. A pretty little family villa for the smaller party, which comes highly recommended out of our range of villa rentals in Algarve.
A journey into Guia is well worth a visit. It is a small and unassuming village with all amenities so you can avoid the journey to Albufeira, and the crowds. It's famous for its piri piri chicken, suckling pig tavernas and many other restaurants from the "cheap and cheerful" to sophisticated dining, where you will find a French gourmet restaurant located in a beautiful old traditional village house. Guia is also popular with locals and tourists alike and is therefore a hive of activity particularly in the summer months. For those of you who enjoy shopping, there is a monthly gipsy market and various local fairs in the evening throughout the year. There is a small central car park, giving access to banks, a chemist, newsagents, supermarkets and a post office. You will also find cake shops, coffee shops and the "football" club which is truly international and local, where you can enjoy an English breakfast or a glass of wine with octopus salad, and watch the world go by. There are also 3 churches, a dentist, a physiotherapist and not forgetting a liquor store, with a huge selection of wines and the largest collection of lighters displayed on the walls, along with antique port bottles on the top shelf.
Just outside Guia you will find the largest shopping centre - Algarve Shopping - and the Retail Park, complete with Nike factory outlets. Just outside the shopping centre, you will also find Cliff Richard's home, a converted manor house and his winery, famous for his own brand "Vida Nova".
For the more active travellers, there are some great opportunities for cycling and walking in the Algarve countryside; you can discover some truly unique and wonderful places and views that are well worth the journey.

The villa was beautiful large and clean. The pool is lovely and not overlooked at all. The residential area is clean, well kept and quiet. The maid came in 3 times during the week and also changed the towels. The pool was also cleaned 3 times during our stay.
Both bedrooms were air-conditioned but could have done with some in the lounge / diner but a fan sufficed.

A lovely, well maintained villa. Ideal for families. Really nice location. Has fantastic pools and outside areas.
Mrs R Cox, May 2011
Everything has been very easy. The villa was easy to find, with instructions that were well laid out. There was a very good welcome basket and our rep Bijou gave us some excellent advice about eating out.
