Villa Lourdas Beach View Description
Perched up on the hillside and overlooking the beautiful bay and beach at Lourdas, Kefalonia, this spectacular villa is a real 'find' for Villa Select. Its fixtures and fittings are of the highest standard and the owner has left no stone unturned in ensuring that our clients complete satisfaction is met on their holidays to Villa Lourdas in the Greek Islands.
This unique property in Kefalonia is reached down a short drive off a quiet service road down to the village of Lourdas. Once inside, the opulence that distinguishes this house from other holiday villas in the Greek Islands is plain to see. A small entrance hall/lobby extends into an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen which has been beautifully furnished from the most expensive retailer on Kefalonia. Large patio doors extend forward over the front of the villa and those extensive views over the bay. The lounge has satellite TV (limited channels) and access to the front terrace and pool area. The kitchen is well fitted with the most modern units and has dishwasher and microwave. On this ground floor level also is a lovely shower room and WC, which not only services the house during the day but is the second bathroom to the first upstairs bedroom.
A feature staircase then leads up to the first floor and here is to be found the two pretty bedrooms and the second bathroom. The first bedroom is a twin and this has patio doors onto the upstairs terrace, whilst the second is a spacious double again with patio doors to the front terrace and those wonderful views of the sea, beach and even Zante in the distance. Complementing this accommodation is a beautifully tiled family bathroom with shower, WC and vanity unit. The washing machine is also located here. The villa has internet access, please bring your own compatible computer.
The downstairs terrace off the lounge is railed off from the swimming pool and terraces affording the family complete safety for 'little ones'. The 11 metre pool with Jacuzzi takes pride of place to the front of the villa and catches the sun all day through. It has Roman steps with a shallow end for children and is surrounded by spacious sun terraces which are well furnished for eating and relaxing outdoors. There is also a wooden pergola providing shade for your added comfort. There is a brick built barbeque for those meals 'al fresco' and is a really special place in the evening to watch the lights of Lourdas below and the twinkling lights of Zante in the far distance.
Bedrooms and lounge are air-conditioned for your added benefit.
The nearest taverna is only a plot or so away, whilst the village centre of Lourdas with its selection of tavernas and restaurants is no more than a 10-15 minute walk (0.5 mile) down the hill, and the beach area, with more eating places, is 5 minutes by car.
The beach offers sun loungers, brollies and in high season offers pedalos, windsurfers and small motorboats for hire and is one of the outstanding beaches in Kefalonia with clean sand and turquoise seas. There are also lots of opportunities for cycling and walking.

Fantastic Villa, third time with Villa Select but 1st time to Cephalonia.
This villa is fantastic, well worth a visit. Close to restaurants, this villa is beautifully kept by Kostas and his wife. He owns a nearby restaurant which has fantastic food and he is very knowledgeable about his island. Looking forward to going back next year.

Having just returned from a superb holiday in Cephalonia, we must congratulate you on the standard of this beautiful villa. As described in your brochure, it is indeed very luxurious but yet homely.
The views from the villa are spectacular. The owner, Kostas, went out of his way to make our holiday special. His care and personality were very refreshing. It is definitely a villa we would return to time and time again.

Myself and my husband spent an indulgent week in Lourdas Beach view villa at the end of May. Having stayed in studios in Kefalonia before (and enjoyed every trip) we found the villa an absolute treat. It is a really beautiful, well-finished property with a gorgeous private pool and outdoor eating area...with the most amazing views over the Ionian sea.
There were 4 of us in total in the villa (2 couples) and we all agreed there was plenty of space for everyone. The villa comes with pretty much everything you would need from kitchen equipment, outdoor BBQ, a/c, satellite TV, towels etc.
The owner Kostas has a classy restaurant just down the road from the villa and it's hard not to keep going there every night for dinner as it is so near and the food is scrumptious. Teresa is the main person front of house in the restaurant and always makes an effort to take care of every customer...she has a great Irish sense of humour as well which works great with the tourists.
I would highly recommend this villa to give you what feels like an exclusive, luxury holiday without the exclusive, luxury price.

Lourdas Beach villa is situated in an elevated position with magnificent views across the bay of Mount Ainos behind. The accomodation as been fitted toa high standard and offers peace and seclusion. There are Taverna's, mini markets'sand a bakery within walking distance. The owner Kosta has a great resturant approximatly 100 metres called Andromeda. This is run by himself and Teresa who have kept us entertained and made to feel special, as have many of the locals.

The resort was everything I hoped it would be. Quiet, relaxing and not too touristy.
The villa was in a fantastic location with fabulous views. I would recommend this villa, it is perched on quite a steep hill, therefore you would need a car.

Thank you so much, we had a faultless holiday at Lourdas Beachview. The villa and pool were perfect, and close enough to resturants and shops, so we didn't need a car for a one week stay, I must mention the 'lifesaver' moment when Debbie (your rep) managed to track down our daughter's special toy, which she left in our transfer taxi. She (and we)were so grateful and it meant we could all enjoy the best family holiday we have had for many years.
