Swallow Villa Description

Designed by the late Arne Hasselqvist of Mystique Villa’s fame, elegant Swallow Villa offers sophisticated comfort in a convenient location. The villa has a very spacious kitchen adjoining the living and dining room area, a computer equipped office, a breezy covered patio area and three air-conditioned bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The king bedded master suite is enhanced by a large lavish master bath with whirlpool bath for two, mirrored walls, deluxe shower and a dressing room. French doors lead out to the covered patio and to the sunny pool deck and pool gazebo. The second bedroom is across the patio for excellent privacy, and the third, very separate bedroom is at the end of Swallow Villa’s blue tiled pool in its own pavilion. A hardwood staircase leads to the pavilion’s lower level and an exercise area with workout equipment and a sitting room.

Swallow Villa is well situated to catch cool tropical breezes and lovely sunset views of Prickly Bay and yachts at anchor. Merle, the villa’s housekeeper and cook, is on hand to prepare meals daily and to make your holiday in Grenada relaxing and carefree. Check in at Calabash and upon arrival at Swallow Villa, your first evening’s dinner with wine will await you as well as a welcome basket with breakfast items. Merle is also available for babysitting and can stay late at weekends at an additional hourly rate. Merle will be at Swallow Villa 8am to 4pm every day.

The rates are quoted on a weekly basis and include preparation of 3 meals per day from Monday through to Friday and until noon on Saturdays. By your advance arrangement, Merle is also available for babysitting at £5 per hour, and can stay late or on weekends at £7 per hour additional charge. Merle is generally at Swallow Villa 8 am to 3 pm Mondays through Fridays, and until noon on Saturdays. When you arrive and are settled in Swallow Villa, Merle will gladly go grocery shopping with you and help you plan the meals you wish her to cook for you.

Bedrooms: 3 plus the den. One king bed in master bedroom, Twin beds in the 2nd bedroom (can be put together to create one king sized bed), one queen bed in the pool pavilion and a *single bed in den/office

Bathrooms: 3 ½ plus outdoor pool shower

Pool: 15’ x 30’ 4 ½’ to 5 ½’ deep with infinity edge. Gazebo, Built in BBQ charcoal grill, wet bar and mini fridge

Beach: Across a small road from villa to L’Anse aux Epines beach

Damage deposit: US$1,000.00. (payable locally) This is refundable after departure inspection.

Facilities: Flat screen TV and DVD with cable box and iPod clock radio in each bedroom, 1 VCR, 6-CD/tape, radio, world-wide internet radio channels, movie and music collections, books, games, A/C in 3 bedrooms, study and in master bath, computer with wireless internet access, printer, fax & answering machines, safe for valuables, 2 whirlpool baths, automatic generator, security system, assorted snorkel gear, baby crib & highchair, dishwasher, laundry. Children are welcome at the villa all year round

Please note: The resort welcomes children over 12 from 15th January through 15th March and children of all ages during the rest of the year. Children under the age 18 years old not allowed in the exercise area.
