Villa Description

A most attractive three bedroomed, three bathroomed villa, situated in some 2 acres of unspoilt countryside, just 3 miles inland from Rethymnon. The villa is surrounded by old olive groves, orange trees and is reached via a winding country lane and then a long private drive. If you are looking for peace, privacy and stunning views in a wonderful location then this is the place for you.

The lower level of the property has a table tennis area and a short flight of steps then lead up to the main entrance, which in turn opens out into a really lovely well furnished lounge/dining room and open plan kitchen. The lounge has a feature fireplace, satellite TV (limited channels) and DVD with patio doors opening out onto the front terrace and pool area. The dining area has seating for six, whilst the well fitted kitchen has small a dishwasher, electric hob, microwave and a washing machine.

On this level also is a most attractive shower room with hydro massage shower, WC and vanity units. Next to this is the first of the villas three air-conditioned bedrooms, a pretty twin with patio doors onto the front terrace and a shower with WC en-suite. A marble staircase then leads up to the first floor and two further bedrooms. The first of these is a lovely double with patio doors leading to a very large, well furnished terrace overlooking the pool, gardens and the whole bay of Rethymnon in the distance. Adjacent to this is a beautifully fitted bathroom with large bath, WC and vanity unit. Finally on the opposite side of the landing is a twin bedroom with patio doors opening onto a small terrace overlooking the pool.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned for your added benefit.

Outside the 8 metre pool takes pride of place amongst spacious well furnished sun terraces and there is a separate children's section, which has a depth of 0.5 of a metre. There is ample outside dining for those meals al-fresco and the brick built barbeque compliments this area. The grounds are vast and gradually the owner is renovating the old grain threshing circle and olive press, all adding character and charm to this property. At night the pool and surrounding area is lit with the lights of Rethymnon in the distance. This really is an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
