Villa Description

The flagship villa of our Kefalonian programme! A superb property in a wonderful location and simply one of the finest villas available for rental in Kefalonia.

Constructed to the highest quality and is situated amongst olive groves and rural farmland high above the sea in the area of Trapezaki. The panoramic views from all angles of the villa are stunning as you look down across an area dotted with private villas towards the Ionian Sea and the Island of Zante in the distance. Approximately one mile away is the pretty village of Trapezaki with its taverna and mini markets for your shopping needs. The sandy beach at Lourdas is 2 miles away and boasts a beachside taverna and boats for hire, whilst the small beach at Trapezaki is only a mile away.

The villa is reached via a short unmade lane off a quiet sleepy country road and takes around 20 minutes to reach the airport or 30 minutes to the capital of Argostoli by car. Peace and privacy is assured at villa Helios and the accommodation consists of a very large open plan air-conditioned lounge/dining room with feature fireplace, satellite TV (limited English channels), DVD and CD player. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen, which is nicely fitted in dark oak units and comes complete with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a washing machine for your added convenience close by.

Off from the kitchen an inner hall leads to a cloakroom with WC and the first of the villas four air- conditioned bedrooms. This is a twin with patio doors to a small terrace on the side of the villa and a large double shower room en-suite. The second twin bedroom leads off from the hall and faces the front of the property with a side terrace and boasts a large double shower en-suite.

A marble staircase leads to the first floor and the two double bedrooms. The first has patio doors leading to a small terrace with seating overlooking the pool with those fabulous views and this has full bathroom with shower en-suite. The master double bedroom is on the opposite side of the house and has patio doors leading to a very large terrace with seating and sun loungers. This again takes full advantage of the villas stunning position. There is a small dressing area and double shower room en-suite.

The villa is air-conditioned/heated throughout for your added benefit.

Villa Hellios is just designed for outside living. The large 10 metre pool has steps down into a shallow end for children and there is a Jacuzzi built into the side of the pool for your added enjoyment. Swim here and you think you are swimming in mid air, however please note that small children must be supervised around the pool area. A brick built barbeque compliments the outside dining furniture and there are ample comfortable sun loungers and parasols to enhance your days enjoyment under the Kefalonian sunshine.
