The villa is very well maintained, extensive and very tastefully decorated. All fixtures and fittings are of the highest standard. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and everything spotlessly clean. Maid service 3 times during the week was most welcome.

Villa Casesnovas - Pollensa
Having done a great deal of research to source our first villa holiday, we were very pleased with our choice.
We arrived late afternoon having followed the excellent directions sent by Villa select, however, not sure how easy this would have been in the dark?
The location is in a rural setting, well off the beaten track and the lane leading to the property quite tight to negotiate if you have a larger car.We were surprised to find we had a close neighbour - the villa- Son Rotger- but we were not overlooked at all and both villas were secluded and private.
The welcome pack was most welcome and a good variety of food/drink provided, more than enough to enjoy a nice meal on your first evening if you didn’t want to go to the supermarket.

We did have a query however with the Air Conditioning which our rep told us was on a timer - 6pm- 6am, but this proved not to be the case. It came on at 8pm and went off at 4.30am.
The temperature downstairs was comfortable and pleasant but upstairs it was unbearably hot and sticky which caused several unpleasant and restless nights. We were able to control the speed of the fans in each room but even on the highest setting this did not alleviate the problem. The provision of electric fans or the presence of ceiling fans would have been most acceptable and greatly appreciated.
Opening doors and windows was not an option because in theory this defeats the object and although we were desperate for some breeze it also meant we were subject to the noise of several barking dogs at neighbouring properties, something we know is unavoidable and something we had to be accepting and tolerant of.
We spent the majority of our holiday enjoying the lovely garden and pool (both attended to every day) patio and barbeque area, but worth pointing out that the view was slightly marred by a field that we overlooked. This appeared to be used for the storage of 2 disused caravans, a boat, a small crane, followed by cars and vans which arrived throughout the week on the back of a low-loader. These were then tinkered with during the evenings.
All of this guarded by 2 dogs that were left unattended for most of the day and all of the night, and which surprisingly and thankfully were well behaved, only barking when someone arrived to drop a vehicle off or to feed them! This was a view that we had not expected and one which surprised our rep when she came to visit.
To sum up, we had a wonderfully relaxing week with lots of family fun and great memories. We enjoyed exploring the lovely surrounding areas and had some great meals particularly at Numero Ocho in Old Pollenca town.We would not hesitate to return to this villa or use Villa Select in the future as we were impressed by the user friendly website and extensive selection of villas on offer as well as the exceptional service and property we were provided with.
