Villa Porithea is ideally situated only steps away from a Caribbean-style beach with white sand and crystal turquoise waters -one of the most beautiful beaches of the Cyclades complex. This enchanting holiday home has been very popular with our guests, who enjoy waking up to the sounds of nature while at the same time indulging in the sophisticated luxury of an island summer home.

The structure is designed according to the elegant Cycladic architecture -a cluster of cubes put closely together, painted stark white to deflect the blazing rays of the sun. The villa’s close proximity to the beach and the charming natural surroundings make the outdoor lounge area ideal for spending a lazy afternoon with friends and family. The shaded dining area, equipped with an open-sky BBQ, is perfect for having dinner after a long day at the beach.

Open spaces let the landscape flow into the interior, which features a joyful blend of traditional and contemporary elements. The palette is playful, with the dominating earth tones highlighted by vivid splashes of color. The living room is airy and bright with wooden floors and large windows that let the sunlight in and offer fabulous views of the nearby beach. The comfortable open plan kitchen is ideal for those who like to cook while chatting with their friends who sit at the adjacent dining area. The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy, with carefully selected fabrics and funky accessories, a touch of whimsy that creates a loving, homely atmosphere. The lower level has a bright colored lounge and three bedrooms, all equipped with skylights to let the sunlight in.

This fabulous holiday house is one of two neighboring villas that belong to the same owner and can also be rented together for larger parties, to offer accommodation for up to 22 guests.

This villa does not have a swimming pool, but the beach is only a 3-4 min walk from the property.

Great attention has been given to the outdoor areas. The open sky bathtub is ideal to wash away the salt and sand after a day at the beach, or to soak in and cool down from the summer heat. An interesting patio with a comfortable set of built in sofas with colourful cushions highlights the arty white-washed wall with its several small windows.
The same windows let the sun's rays in, creating playful schemes and adding an element of surprise as we enter the house.

The living room is bright and airy, featuring a sophisticated blend of traditional island style and modern touches. A dark coloured comfortable sofa with white and blue cushions adds a nautical theme to the otherwise natural feel of the area. The bedrooms are comfortable and cosy, with colourful, funky accessories that add a personal touch. The spacious open plan kitchen is ideal for those who like to cook while chatting with their friends who sit at the adjacent dining area. The lower level is fully modern and brightly coloured, with its own character and palette. It consists of an inviting playroom and three cosy bedrooms, all equipped with skylights to let the sunlight in.

Holiday Villas and Rentals in Koufonissi

Once inhabited by pirates, charming Koufonissia is a complex of three tiny islands that belong to the Cyclades complex. The cluster comprises of Pano and Kato Koufonissi and the uninhabited island of Keros, which is a protected archaeological site.

Kato Koufonissi, a secluded paradise with an almost tropical landscape, is more or less uninhabited. Pano Koufosnissi is the only developed among the three, with about 350 inhabitants, and has become very popular over the last decade. The landscape is enchanting, featuring suburb beaches with crystal clear waters and secluded rocky coves.

The main village and port is a picturesque settlement with a sandy beach and a number of restaurants, cafes and bars. Further ahead, the beach of Italida attracts most of the tourists that visit the island. The most distant and perhaps impressive is Pori, an almost tropical beach with fine white sand and turquoise waters. The sea caves that were once used as a cache from the pirates, hide a few charming two person bays.
