Tosca Restaurant in Javea has been open since June 2006 and offers an excellent menu and choice of wine. Their objective is to ‘occupy a special place in the minds of their clients’.

Situated opposite the Parador Hotel on the Arenal beach and enjoying great views of the canal and the bay, it is decorated in a welcoming style using a combination of modern and traditional materials including the local tosca stone from which its name is taken.

Specialities include Fried Cod with Honey, Chateaubriand in Salt and T-bone steak cooked on a hot stone.  Desserts include Mascarpone Mousse, a selection of hand-made cakes and a choice of sorbets, starters Monkfish and Salmon Carpaccio and Duckliver and Goat cheese lasagne. The wine cellar has a choice of over 100 different national and international wines, all served at the correct temperature and the service is friendly and professional.

Once a month they have a special evening meal ‘A Marriage and Food and Wine’ – 6 courses each accompanied by a different wine. Examples of the dishes are Filo Pastry stuffed with Black Sausage and Onion, Baked Sucking Lamb with Sautéed Mushrooms and Apple stuffed with Chestnut Puree.  Information on the different wines is available on the night.
