Villa Sand is designed using native non-endangered materials for dark mahogany floors and hand hewn walls in a open 2 bedroom 2 bath layout. The villa is a single story modern building with fine finishes, thatched porches and high mahogany ceilings in the local style.

Villa Sand features a wide wooden deck at the entry along with two screened porches facing the ocean off each bedroom. Decor is rustic/modern with authentic Guatemalan antiques, artisan crafted wooden tables and artworks. Villa Sand features a unique driftwood art piece and handmade lampshades using linen paper on a natural wood base. Furnishings and linens are tasteful and classic using light-toned linen, cotton and canvas fabrics suited to the casual Latin - Caribbean beach environment. Bedrooms are air conditioned.

Topaz is a spectacular three story villa, surrounded with palm trees and a magnificent stretch of sandy beach looking at the turquoise Caribbean Sea between the Barrier Reef and the lagoon.

Ground floor
From the pearly white sand only a few steps will lead you to a beautiful wooden verandah and to the main entrance of the spectacular TV room. There is a Sony 42" flat screen TV, a large and comfortable sofa, and a jacuzzi for two facing your favourite movies. The walls are hand painted giving a warm ambience to this room. There is also a gorgeous powder room adjoining this room.

To the left of the TV room is the Greek bedroom, ideal for teens or kids (one double and one single bed). There is also a charming full bathroom. The washing machine is found in the utility room at the back of the villa.
A dramatic Mexican staircase will bring you to the next level.

Middle Floor (hardwood floor)
The double mahogany doors bring you to the living room and kitchen. There you will find a leather sofa, ottoman, lounge chair, large antique coffee table and buffet. The kitchen counters have beautiful Mexican tiles, along with a stainless steel stove and refrigerator and an 18th century wooden dining table that seats 10 people.

To the left of the living room a big opening framed by two antique hacienda columns leads into the family room, which is furnished with a built-in sofa with the finest Guatemalan fabric, a beautiful coffee table and an adjoining enclosed verandah with an Indonesian seating area over looking the tropical pool. At the end of the room is the studio with an amazing 600 pounds stone desk.

To the right of the living room, the master bedroom will fascinate you. Wood beam ceilings, mahogany custom king bed, antique armoire, a built-in closet and enclosed verandah with hammock. The very spacious bathroom has double hand painted sinks, a big shower and large ottoman to relax on..

Third floor (hardwood floor)
From the living room a beautiful mahogany spiral staircase will get you to the gigantic master bedroom. There you will find a big walk-in closet, a king sized bed from Indonesia, and an antique desk and chair. The bathroom has a huge shower and handmade tiles and sink from Mexico.

Separate access is available to the two stunning sun bathing bed terraces, with their breathtaking view to the Caribbean Sea and reef, as well as the outstanding sunsets over the lagoon.

Villa Opal is a luxuriously furnished 4 bedroom 4 bathroom villa on two levels which include two large decks and two screened in porches. Upstairs, the modern gourmet kitchen opens onto the main living room, tastefully decorated and elegantly furnished.

Off the living room is the master suite with king size bed, ensuite and screened in porch which includes a hand-woven hammock to enjoy the balmy ocean breezes. Also off the main living room is a formal dining room which seats 10 people and splits off into a screened in porch, an ideal spot for cocktails before dinner, and a second bedroom with a double bed, and ensuite complete with a claw foot bathtub.

From the living room you also have access to the deck complete with barbecue, outdoor eat-in dining area and lounge chairs. You have a wonderful view of the swimming pool and the ocean from this deck.

Downstairs opens up to a huge family room complete with pool table and entertainment living room with large screen TV and access to deck. The deck features a double swing chair and an outdoor shower.

Just off of this family room is guest bedroom number three with a queen size bed with an adjoining ensuite. On the other side of the living room is guest bedroom suite number 4. Villa Pearl is the largest of our accommodations at La Perla with three levels, four large outdoor patios and five bedrooms. It is custom designed with lavish island comfort in mind and artfully painted walls.

All of the bedrooms have private bathrooms designed with beautiful Mexican tile and spacious showers. The villa offers a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen. There are three private patios and two screened in porches that include a hand-woven hammock to enjoy the balmy ocean breezes.

Off the main living room there is a formal dining room perfect for entertaining up to twelve people. There are two large upper decks for a full few of the sea and of the lagoon on the other side, so you can watch the sun rise in the morning and then watch it set in the evening.

Luxury is evident throughout the Villa Pearl, distinctively exhibiting local art and Guatemalan design using indigenous materials combined with tasteful furnishings.

Kulkulcan villa is situated amongst 50 acres of lush tropical gardens in the beautiful Mayan hills of Western Belize. Rolling hills and a beautiful meandering river below make the perfect backdrop. The property is located just 10 minutes from the town of San Ignacio, this Western Belize town has a weekly market (taking place on a Saturday) and many shops to peruse, here you will also find a selection of small restaurants.

The river runs from the mountains above past Kulkulcans kilometre long river front and then to the town of san Ignacio. Guests will be able to explore the river in the kayaks and watch for the Iguanas laying lazily on the riverside trees.

The Mayan hills surrounding Kulkulcan is a prime location for bird watchers, with a huge assortment of tropical birds abundant in the area. Keel billed toucans nest in the trees beside the house and a common site on the villa grounds.

Inside the design has been optimised to afford the best views of the breathtaking scenery. Large glass windows will ensure you never miss the perfect sunset or night sky.

A modern high spec kitchen is standard with this Villa but don’t worry, if you don’t feel like cooking the Villa has the services of a full time cook ad a full time maid. The staff reside in a private casita in the grounds so if you prefer to bring your own staff they can live comfortably near the villa.

The three bedrooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed, one with king size and the remaining two are queen size beds, there are three modern fully tiled bathrooms to service these rooms. It’s quite a thrill to take your shower and gaze out at nothing but uninterrupted rainforest canopy! The bedrooms are air-conditioned for your added comfort. Other rooms in the house have modern fans should you need them. Keeping the air-conditioning off and the windows open (all are fully screened) allows guests of Kulkulcan to experience the night time sounds of the jungle which are magnificent and tremendously sleep inducing.

Amazingly there are almost no mosquitos and one can walk amidst the tropical jungle on maintained trails without worrying about mosquito spray.

From your own private viewing terrace, gaze at the spectacular wild scenery of Belize’s beautiful county side and watch the Toucan’s as they fly in and out of the trees, swim in the beautiful outdoor infinity pool, where you will truly feel at one with nature.

Not only will you holiday in a spectacular architect designed villa with all the luxurious and modern amenities you would expect form a Villa Select Holiday, but you will also have the run of the Villa’s own estate.

There are three Mayan-Belizean staff which are available on site and will be more happy to barbecue for guests aswell as make local Mayan and Belizean dishes.

A truly superb property located in the heart of rainforests, ideal for taking time out for some rest and relaxation.

Day trips
Kulkulcan is in the midst of Mayaland with Mayan ruins within the grounds. Day trips can easily be made to visit the developed and fascinating Mayan ruins nearby, or why not take a day trip to Guatemala to visit the famous Tikal Ruin, ask our sales team for more information.
