Villa Can Plomer Description
For those who love the Old Town of Pollensa, then villa Plomer is the ideal choice for you. With mature gardens, this villa offers peace and privacy yet within an easy stroll of the central square in the Old Town. An ideal meeting place for a morning coffee or evening dinner whilst soaking up the local atmosphere.
The Old Town is a very special place with its lovely shops, numerous restaurants and bars and the fantastic architecture of the Churches. It sis a great place to explore. The main square (a 5 minute walk away) is also a great place to catch on emails, Facebook and Twitter as free WiFi is provided there.
Whilst keeping its traditional Mallorcan style, this villa has been lovingly renovated and offers comfortable and stylish accommodation. The villa has a gated entrance into large, mature gardens with plenty of fruit trees around. The traditional wooden entrance door opens into the lounge/dining room. With exposed wooden beams and stone walls, this villa has real character. The lounge is comfortably furnished and offers DVD player, music system and satellite television. A stone archway leads into the well fitted kitchen and this has dishwasher for your added benefit. The washing machine is in a separate laundry room next to the annexe.
On the first floor is a pretty double bedroom and this has French doors opening onto its own balcony. Also on this level is a twin bedroom and these bedrooms share a full bathroom.
The villa has the advantage of a separate annexe - ideal for a nanny or grandparents and this has a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.
The pool is set away from the villa in the large gardens. There are steps into the shallow end for children. For those perfect alfresco meals and cool, poolside drinks, there is an outdoor kitchen with oven, fridge and the stone barbecue.
You don't need a car at Can Plomer, but there is so much to see and do on this island that we would recommend getting one for at least some of your time on the island.
If you want to explore further afield from the villa then why not try some excellent sailing or cycling in Majorca; both come highly recommended. Mallorca is also famous for its Bird Watching and walking and in 2010 the Serra de Tramuntana was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status, Cultural Landscape. The wine and gastronomy really has to be tried and appreciated. There is so much to do in Pollensa and Mallorca generally. Just ask our sales specialists or your 24hr support team in resort. N.B. For 2012 the local owner has re-tiled the swimming pool, replaced the hot water boiler and upgraded the villa security.

My family and I (4 adults and 1 child) stayed at Can Plomer for a week in June 2010. Although I have been to Majorca many times before, I had never visited Pollensa. Having a young child (15 months old at the time), we wanted to be within walking distance of the old town and this villa suited perfectly as it was a 10-15 minute flat walk to all the lovely shops, bars and restaurants -very easy with a pushchair!
It's a lovely place to stay and in a quiet area but close to all the amenties. My partner, myself and our child had the bedrooms in the house and my parents utilised the annexe which is attached to the house.i would recommend that you have a car to visit the beaches or other parts of the island but if you just want to explore the old town, no need. There are plenty of large supermarkets about to obtain everything you need. I recommend using Villa Select to all of my family and friends as they were superb at meeting my special requests in terms of supplying a wooden cot for my son (rather than a travel cot) where many other villa companies failed to even think about investigating this notion and special thanks to Mark Bruno who was faultless in his service and attention to detail throughout. The rep in resort was also top notch! We loved Pollensa and are thinking of returning this year with Villa Select as they are just fabulous! Thank you again.
