Vila Son Cisterna enjoys the same owner as El Madrava, a man with such taste and eye for design. When constructing Son Cisterna he was determined to recreate old style Mallorcan finca but with all the mod cons. Stone clad throughout he has brought the same stone work inside the house and together with antique artefacts from all over the island, there is no doubt that his aims and objectives have been fully met.

You enter this luxury villa in Pollensa, Majorca through the authentic wooden doors into an imposing entrance hall. Off from this is the dining room, dominated by large glass top dining table constructed from old cart wheels. A comfortable snug/lounge with views of the tennis court and gardens also leads off from here and has Spanish digital satellite TV (limited English channels)and DVD player. The first of the four air-conditioned bedrooms, a double with full bathroom en-suite is located on this level. A further full bathroom can be found here also.

The farmhouse kitchen has kept its character but is fitted with split level hob/oven, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave, all the equipment you would need on your self-catering holiday in Pollensa. Off from the kitchen a pretty breakfast room with marble topped table overlooks the pool.

The upstairs is reached by a rustic staircase and here are to be found three air-conditioned bedrooms. Two double bedrooms, both having full bathroom en-suite plus a twin with full bathroom adjacent are located here and all bedrooms have fabulous views of the pool, countryside and sea beyond or towards the mountains of Formentor.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned for your added benefit.

Outside the large covered terrace affording shade from the midday sun, overlooks the gardens and pool, whilst the barbecue is a real feature of this super area and makes dining outdoors such a pleasure.

The ornate swimming pool is built out of rock (some of which is submerged) and has a separate jacuzzi. The pool offers a variety of depths to suit all the family.

The owner has added a fitness area for those clients that like to keep active whilst away. There's a small gym, sauna and indoor heated pool for your own private use! For a more varied exercise, why not try some of the excellent walking in Majorca on offer to you. And for those that like to keep in touch with the outside world, there's internet access (not wireless), please bring your own compatible computer.

Finally the villa is centrally heated for early or late season renting. The all-weather floodlit tennis court is available to our clients staying here, at a supplement of 50 pounds/70 Euros per week (please bring your own rackets and balls.) This facility must be booked in the UK before departure.

This superb villa is also available to rent during the winter months.
